Well, I HAVE tried to respond to inane assertions. I always get a response that is even more idiotic than the previous assertion(s), complete with straw man arguments that are easily shot down, but the posters continue with even more idiotic responses. One person even claims something to the effect that there was nothing wrong with imprisoning those of Japanese descent a few generations ago. This same poster accused me of being a KKK'er for opposing Israeli treatment of the indigeonous peoples of Judea and Samaria. I thought his argument was exactly backward, but how can a person continue to argue with somebody that refuses to use logic? Easier to simply ignore, and hope that their positions don't become associated with the Libertarian Party.
