If "Party of Principle" speaks down to non-libertarians and
demeans them, then so does "Libertarian".

The phrase 'the Party of Principle' is a slogan.

It's a jingle, for goodness sake.
 
Personally, I didn't like it when it was first used,
as a branding tool for a campaign.
 
I think it speaks down to non-Libertarians, and
it's a mistake for us to lead with it.
 
It suggests we have principles and outsiders
do not.  This is not exactly the way to be
inclusive, or to recruit new folks, by demeaning
them, and their current affiliation.
