If you can prove that it came from Barr headquarters, you are correct. I doubt it. My understanding is that anyone can set up polls or signature gathering projects on the internet. There is not any evidence as to who initiated it. While anyone is entitled under the common law to use a pseudonym or remain anonymous and much political literature was written in that manner during the time of the Founding Fathers I believe that if someone does not want to identify himself that is at least some evidence that his position is not valid.
