Barnes was given a paid speaking tour of Germany by the German Foreign ministry, his books were translated into German, published, and distributed in German schools all at German expense. Hitler praised Barnes' book on WWI in Hitler's unpublished Second Book. After WWII, Barnes became a Holocaust Denier, publishing glowing reviews of Rassinier's Holocaust- denial books in "The American Mercury," which had by that time been taken over by the infamous American neo-Nazi Willis Carto. Barnes neglected to mention in his glowing review that he'd personally translated Rassinier's books into English and arranged for their publication in the USA. William Blum: Leninist, who denies that the Soviet puppet regime ruling Afghanistan in the 1970s was engaged in collectivization of agriculture and massacring Afghans in the process, claiming that the only motivation for the Afghan rebellion against the Commies was that women were not wearing burkhas and going to school.
