If you can find more instances of revolutions fought for freedom, even nonviolent ones, I welcome the input and will be happy to forward the information back to Anthony Hargis to add to Libertarian revisionist history, but I suspect that MOST revolutions were not fought for freedom, thanks for making the distinction, Jane Stilwell

In your comment on successful revolutions for freedom are you counting Ukraine and Georgia, the many Eastern European revolutions of 1989 and how about the anti-Marcos one in the Phillipines? All of these were non-violent. --- On Wed, 5/6/09, Jane Stilwell <mejan...@yahoo. com> wrote: From: Jane Stilwell <mejan...@yahoo. com> Subject: Re: [Libertarian] Silver or Lead--go back and watch THE POSTMAN again... When a local crime syndicate (city government) wishes to seize your property, they will offer you two options: a) Accept a bribe b) You will be kidnapped, thrown into a cage, and your property will be seized anyway. If you resist being kidnapped then you will be shot. Why are you so afraid of foreigners engaging in this activity when your own constitution explicitly authorizes it? What is the real purpose behind your steady stream of xenophobic propaganda? ---Sasan --- In Libertarian@ yahoogroups. com, Jon Roland <jon.roland@ ...> wrote: > > I have previously warned of the threat from foreign criminal gangs > invading our country and seizing control of our territory, beginning > with land along the border and along transshipment corridors into the > country, to transshipment hubs near each metro area.
