Subject: PRESS RELEASE: Status of Franklin Perez Walking Florida State House
Date: Mon, 1 Jun 2009 22:42:30 +0000

Hello Folks:

My
name is Franklin Perez, and I am running in year 2010 for the Florida
State House of Representatives (District 33) with a Libertarian
platform. You may go to my campaign website at the
http://www.geocities.com/fperez1776
hyperlink. I also ran in years 2006 and 2008 for the Florida State
House of Representatives (District 33) with a Libertarian platform.

As
you may or may not know, I have started to walk my Florida State House
District 33 every weekend starting on the last weekend of January 2009.
I have so far had only one volunteer help walk my House District: James
Coakley. Thank so much James for helping me out once more on my
campaign. I walk the House District at least once a week on the
weekends, but if time permits, I also walk the House District on both
Saturdays and Sundays. I usually start at around 6 AM and continue
walking my House District until 7 PM.

But... I have two new volunteers that have decided to help me out: Jeff
Hartzler and Frank Kurtz. Thanks guys!

Walking a House District
involves receiving a walk packet and then placing my campaign flier on
the dwellings identified in the walk packets. In my walk on Florida
State House District 33, I have concentrated on the registered voters
that are neither Democrat or Republican. While I walk the Florida State
House District 33, starting at around 10:45 AM, I also knock on the
doors and introduce myself so that the voters may personally see me,
and then I give the voter my campaign flier. If the voter is not at
his/her house, then I simply leave my campaign flier. If the time is
before 10:45 AM, then I do not knock on the door; I simply leave my
campaign flier.

I have decided to first start at the Oviedo /
Winter Springs area in Seminole County, Florida, since this is the area
that has the highest concentration of people and is the heart of
Florida State House District 33.

So far, James Coakley and I
have finished walking Florida State House District 33 in the following
Seminole County, Florida precincts: 5, 55, 73, 85, 95, 97, 98, 99, 100, 102,
110.1, 120.

There
are still MANY precincts to walk. I am very much in need of volunteers
to help walk my House District even if it is just to walk it once a
month.

If you would like to help walk my Florida State House
District, please feel free to call me at (407) 694-7805 or send me
e-mail at the [email protected] e-mail address.

Sincerely,

Franklin Perez (Libertarian)
Florida State House Candidate (District 33) - Year 2010
Libertarian and Independent! Not Beholden to Party Politics!
