I watched the show:

Hannity asked Root about legalizing drugs, but Root would not say anything
about it. Root just laughed.

Hannity asked Root about the arrest of Professor Henry Gates.
Root replied that Obama looked racist because of this and the appointment of
Judge Sotomayor. Root said nothing about civil liberties.

Later, Hannity asked Root about legalizing drugs, again, but Root again
refused to say anything about it.

Root did say that Democrats are spending too much. He even said that
Republicans would spend more if they returned to power.

Root never said anything in support of the Bill of Rights, ending victimless
crimes, equalizing marriage, or stopping the torture, rendition, illegal
spying, and false imprisonment, by our government.
