I'd like to respond to Harland's message. I'll do so inline so each point can be addressed. My comments are prefaced with a red [BC]
I watched the show: Hannity asked Root about legalizing drugs, but Root would not say anything about it. Root just laughed. [BC] Not true. Please watch the video. Hannity got frustrated because Wayne was holding the GOPs feet to the fire and blaming them equally for the current economic malaise and overspending/taxing. Hannity doesn't like anyone saying something negative about the GOP and got upset and threw it at Wayne to distract and insult him. Root replied that Obama looked racist because of this and the appointment of Judge Sotomayor. Root said nothing about civil liberties. [BC] Pure distraction, Root answered as asked. Later, Hannity asked Root about legalizing drugs, again, but Root again refused to say anything about it. [BC] Wayne was being baited to go off topic. Root did say that Democrats are spending too much. He even said that Republicans would spend more if they returned to power. [BC] See? Harland gets at least this right. Root never said anything in support of the Bill of Rights, ending victimless crimes, equalizing marriage, or stopping the torture, rendition, illegal spying, and false imprisonment, by our government. [BC] So Harland wants one person on a three person panel, that's only a small part of a one hour show, to somehow take over from the host and determine what's being talked about? Perhaps Wayne should just call Harland up for his talking points before he goes on TV? Harland wants Wayne to somehow inject SIX new topics of Harland's choice? Ridiculous.
