I thanked the person on our National Tea Party Movement Google group for this
post!!
I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT WHEN FOLKS SUPPOSEDLY FROM "OUR SIDE" SPREAD RUMOR,
MISINFORMATION,
OR OUTRIGHT LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let that behavior come from others!!! We must be people of the truth!!!
I even check out all those wonderful e-mail stories which circulate at
snopes.com or truthorfiction.com,
and will send back bogus stories to senders with explanations and links to the
facts!!
I have not had time to read the bill, and it's too much to download and print.
We need more folks like Charlene below
to check out the veracity of this stuff! This makes us look like fools,
shouting about stuff that's not "in there"!
We need to hammer it for what is truthfully wrong with it, not waste time on
fabrications!!!
That does not help our cause at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While this bill needs to be shot down (and burned), it is very important that
we who oppose it understand it and can accurately explain the legal intent and
effect of each section based upon the actual language used.
We must not allow ourselves to be marginalized through wild claims resulting
from inaccurate interpretations of the intent of the bill. We must dissect it,
analyze it, understand it and make solid, logical arguments against it.

This came from an e-mail from Health Care for America Now.
They debunked those "little gems" of the health care bill. The thing
is, I started checking those references last night, and I found that
many passages had been misinterpreted. I think it is important we have
the truth. Following is a link to my discussion about it. I encourage
everyone to take a look at what they are saying. I still believe this
bill is wrong, but I believe it is wrong because (1) we cannot afford
it and (2) it grants such broad power the government, a government
that has proven again and again does not have the best interests of
the nation in mind. So, here's the link:
