In a kinda decaying system, the individual has to look out for him/herself, and
those they have prepared themselves to love and take care of first (then you
can afford ideals if you like...my point is that it (Cash for Clunkers) is not
the ideal of a republic of free men and women...we are all scrambling to get
out of this alive and preferably not as slaves...I applaud your stand and I
learned this from two very wonderful people who teach or used to teach the
Libertarian Freedom School, Thanks, P and K,      Jane

TANSTAAFL

It isn't free. It's pre-paid. But if it's available and you have to pay for it
anyway you might as well take advantage. I admire those who abide by their
principles to their own detriment but I'm too old, too jaded, and too disgusted
with the whole thing to do that. I'm going to get everything I can even while I
oppose it politically. My intent is to pass on to my children whatever I don't
have to use myself. At least then they get something back.

As for everybody else, scroom.
