Minority groups can do far more than just BLOCK action; they can also TAKE 
action at the expense of the majority. It is now common-place for small groups 
of people to use the republic to force their will onto everyone else.

There is a big difference between what the founders PLANNED and what actually 
HAPPENED. 

You can continue to blame the victims of this disaster, but there was no other 
way that it could have played out.
