>From Sean Cockerham in Anchorage --

The Alaska Libertarian Party board met today to decide whether to
consider allowing Lisa Murkowski to take its seat in the U.S. Senate race.

A decision was reached, but the board members apparently swore secrecy.

"I can't discuss that right now with absolutely anyone -- not even my
girlfriend," vice chairman Harley Brown said.

He said Alaska party chairman Scott Kolhaas would make an announcement
soon. Sounds like the Libertarians, who unexpectedly find themselves as
players in the Senate race, intend to have a press conference and make a
media splash on this.
