and yes, he will surely remain barred from being supported as any kind of LP candidate or officer unless he is taught more about libertarian philosophy and he gets it, and implements it for real.

so i fully agree with Dr. Stevens here.  is it better to ignore someone who shows interest in the LP but is confused on some issues, and let them go around promoting himself as a "Libertarian" when most of us feel that he isn't?  or is it better to spend a little time with him and help him to "see the light"?  i choose the latter.


if someone is new to the LP, or libertarian ideals, one will surely become more educated by hanging around the fold than being cast out of it.
