Interesting. As a part of some (soon to be
opensourced) server I have recently implemented a
'sufficient' subset of HTTP 1.1 (get/POST/keepalive).
There is a very simple HTTP layer implemented in the current CVS
version of libevent. I wanted a small amount of code that makes it
easy to quickly instrument http clients and servers. Feel free to
have a look and send patches if you like.
For patches, I would really appreciate additions to the regress code
that tests them properly. It makes life so much easier.
