Where to find good documentation about I/O Completion ports?
I would start with the msdn.microsoft.com link above first, then read Len Holgate's articles, then head over to www.codeproject.com/internet/ Anthony Jones (and Jim Ohlund) wrote the single most import book "Network Programming for Microsoft Windows 2nd Edition", but it's out of print a guess. The new edition is for .NET, and don't think it is target for us C/C++, Win32 guys. If I didn't have a copy of 2nd Edition already, I'd try finding a used or electronic version. Anthony also wrote most of the MSDN information I have read, I suspect most of the SDK material, and the latest LSP example. I would guess, he is one of the most knowledgable people on all things Windows Networking, read everything you can find he has written.
May be you can share with us your client/server or some of the code?
I would like to write a series of articles and post them on my website, but It's going to take several weekends, and I just don't have the time right now. I believe Len's client & server examples are still on jetbyte.com. His examples are almost as fast as mine :) so that'll give you something to get started with.

Toby, I called you Doug because I only glaced at the header, and saw Douglass, not Toby Douglass, sorry, my bad. Kevin _______________________________________________ Libevent-users mailing list Libevent-users@monkey.org http://monkey.org/mailman/listinfo/libevent-users
