The license is the so-called "3-clause BSD" or "modified BSD"
license.  You can find a copy at the head of every file.  It does not
prohibit you from using libevent in commercial projects.  All you need
to do is follow the terms of the license:  basically, this means that
you need to include the license and it its accompanying disclaimer as
a part of all source and binary distributions, and all documentation
accompanying binary distributions.

the terms of the license.)
