There is a manpage, that gives pretty good descriptions of how
everything works.  I haven't looked at anything since version 1.1,
since Debian is still on that version, but I assume it has grown to
encompass the new additions to the library.

I've written a small program that uses the normal libevent listeners
as well as the bufferevents.  No timers, though, unfortunately.  You
can check it out at http://thchub.no-ip.com/proxy.c
