I am looking for SSL support in libevent. I read through past emails on the
same subject which mentions that code base main "trunk" has the newer
infrastructure changes to facilitate writing such functionality.
I am new to libevent. Looking at the sources, I am trying to understand how SSL
support can be fitted into existing infrastructure, such that for eg. even the
existing HTTP layer would still work with the underlying SSL infrastructure.
It would be great if someone could elaborate on the design to be followed for
supporting SSL in libevent. In particular, I am looking at the socket IO
part...how it could be fitted seamlessly with the existing evbuffer,
bufferevent, & bufferevent filter.
