Hm, I access the list through gmane, so maybe the list is registered over there with the wrong address? I actually tried sending a first email on Saturday directly to the freehaven.org address (i.e.: not through gmane), but it didn't go through, presumably because my address is not subscribed? > On Sun, Sep 9, 2012 at 12:26 PM, Leo Antunes <cost...@debian.org> wrote: >> Could someone with more experience with the code (Nick?) take a look at >> the small patches provided in this[0] Debian bug? True enough, but Debian also has a kFreeBSD port and even a GNU/Hurd one (but please let's not discuss their relevance here ;)), so I guess this scenario isn't that far-fetched. Doesn't hurt to be careful anyway, right? > Also, when I commit them, what should I use for the git Author field? > They appear to be from George Danchev , but the author in the file is > given as Anibal Monsalve Salazar. Who wrote these patches and the > writeups on them? I believe it's safe to assume they come from George Danchev. The headers in the diffs seem to be bogus, since they only have the latest Debian changelog info (which is where Anibal's name come from) and some unused placeholder fields.
