Apparently my pythonpath was set wrong. I can imort ftdi1 now (thanks for mentioning that!) as it was indeed in that directory. I still think my output is weird but t least it seems to work.
However, since the project I work on imports ftdi (without 1) I installed 0.20. It works now, but my python installation seems to be quite a mess. I have lots of different paths that may contain modules etc. I will try to clean that up. Thanks for your help! 2013/10/19 xantares 09 <[email protected]>: > > > ________________________________ > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Subject: RE: SWIG has no output directory when installing ftdi1-1.0 > Date: Sat, 19 Oct 2013 14:47:57 +0000 > > > >> Date: Sat, 19 Oct 2013 15:22:03 +0200 >> Subject: SWIG has no output directory when installing ftdi1-1.0 >> From: [email protected] >> To: [email protected] >> >> I'm trying to use `ftdi` in python on OSX.
