(1) This made no difference. It still hangs around the same place. (2) It wasn't enabled in the kernel so i enabled it. I then rebooted but unfortunately it made no difference.
If you want access to a hypervisor to have a play around, let me know. The only information i really have is that if i installed CentOS 7.3 on this hypervisor it works fine.
