Sorry I can not find the tarball. I do not see anything
related to the tarball generation from the autogen output.
How do I generate the tarball?
After autogen and ./configure, "make dist" from the same directory.
Then, you run "rpmbuild -tb libhid-0.2.17.tar.gz" (also from the same
directory, and I think it even copies it to the SOURCES directory for
you).
