Is there a particular need for this now?  I'd prefer if we let package
managers handle uninstalling like most other source trees.  One example
problem is that the location of files to uninstall is determined by
variables passed into make.  So if you installed a libhugetlbfs rpm,
then installed from source into /usr/local, then 'make PREFIX=/usr
uninstall'. you'd uninstall the wrong files.  I can think of some other
issues as well that I will omit for brevity.
