Is there a particular need for this now? I'd prefer if we let package managers handle uninstalling like most other source trees. One example problem is that the location of files to uninstall is determined by variables passed into make. So if you installed a libhugetlbfs rpm, then installed from source into /usr/local, then 'make PREFIX=/usr uninstall'. you'd uninstall the wrong files. I can think of some other issues as well that I will omit for brevity. -- Adam Litke - (agl at us.ibm.com) IBM Linux Technology Center ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
