Hi, I have attached a patch to limit the overridden shmget() calls to requests with a minimum segment size. With this limit I was able to filter all shmget calls for small segments and had not to waste 1GB pages.
As it was quite useful in my test case, it might also be interesting for other scenarios and you could integrate the patch. Michael
