I've been monitoring the development of this project for a while
now.  It looks very interesting.  Sort of a pde toolkit for octave.

I don't recall ever seeing the author on the mailing list though, and
it looks like he's on a Spanish-language version of sourceforge, so
maybe he speaks C++ more fluently than English.
