What do you guys think about adding Brian Carnes as a developer??

Besides his discontinuous element stuff that he wants to put in... he
also expressed interest in fleshing out the unit tests that I
started... doing a new parallel error estimator (where you do
auxiliary solves on parallel patches)... as well as making up another
example where an adjoint is solved (in conjunction with Varis Carey)
and maybe even used to do goal oriented adaptivity.

All in all... I think he's going to continue to play and add stuff and
it would be useful if he could check in as well as get on the devel
mailing list.

I'm going to help him with this first check in (of his discontinuous
elements) sometime this week... and I'll be looking over his code
quite a bit. I can say that he is a fairly proficient coder, if not
completely trained in the art. Further, I don't feel like he would do
anything detrimental to the project...

What do you guys think?

Derek
