I have to distract everybody from Ben's recent "Hey, is the Quadtree
vs Octree selection completely hosed" message somehow!  Although I
suppose he was at least polite enough not to check svn blame and Cc:
the culprit...  ;-)

And afterward, can you guys run your regression tests on the svn head?
I had to check in a couple small fixes to correct --enable-2D-only
bugs...  and then I went overboard and checked in a dozen larger fixes
to improve 2D/1D-only efficiency.  We're still passing all the
BuildBot tests here, and I'll double-check our application regression
tests too before putting out 0.7.1 final (probably tomorrow or
Saturday), but it would be nice to have a second opinion.
