Not on the libMesh examples; there we're just looking for assertion
failures.  Currently our only regression tests serious enough to check
the actual numerical results come from our app codes.

Anyway, if you run paraview --data=foo.exd, paraview asks you to
specify what type of file you are trying to open from a long list that
is apparently not in alphabetical order...

What do you think about having all the examples write out .e files
instead of .exd?
