Just to be extra-clear: I say "preparing", not "committing".  Such an
extensive change would obviously create annoying little svn conflicts
for anybody who is currently working on a locally modified copy of
libMesh code.  I'm not *quite* enough of a jerk to spring something
like that on everyone on a Friday afternoon.  (please ignore the svn
logs which clearly demonstrate exceptions to the previous statement)

Everybody scream if you have objections, sync up otherwise, and I'll
commit the whitespace changes on Monday.
