I'm merging a bunch of Ben's m4 file changes (after modifying them to be compatible with trunk and adding one bug fix) in from branch. All looks correct on first examination, but anyone doing an svn up in the next 24 hours or so might want to double-check the results of rerunning configure. --- Roy
