I'd appreciate that, thanks.  I haven't *quite* broken down and gotten
a Mac laptop, so I'm unable to test any changes, and my only personal
stake here is that I don't want the mailing lists to start filling up
with "why are you broken?" hatemail that ought to be directed toward
Apple instead.  :-)
