Well - if we have a central testing service we can at the very least report
pass/fail results, even for unreleased applications. I think we can
actually do better than that... but we'll have to see.

Not called for, but message well received. I know that I can be a thorn in
the side... I'm just trying to provide an alternate view of the situation.
Without another view, development can just run off in unchecked
directions. Look at what happened with Gnome3 or KDE4 for instance. I
don't want to see libMesh have trouble like that!
In a normal circumstance I would just "get in there" and hack it up to make
it better. In this case, I believe that "making it better" means returning
to the old system. So, I am at a loss for what to do.
