I used to do a "make -j 40 all examples && make run_examples" to compile tests as fast as possible before running them. Is there any way for us to approximate that behavior with automake? It seems as if even "make -j 40 check" doesn't currently build example object files until it (sequentially) enters the directory with the example. --- Roy
