Has anyone considered adding plate or shell elements to libMesh in the past (I vaguely recall a brief discussion of this on the list some time ago, but couldn't find it in the archive)? I'm planning to do some structural analysis problems based on plates and/or shells soon, and would like to add some support to libMesh.
