Just a heads up that I have several patches posted/coming up:
*UniqueIDGhosted*: Fixes to handle assigning unique IDs on ghosted elements
when using parallel mesh - Already posted, should be safe to merge
*FP*: Make "enableFPE()" public so we can toggle it from user code -
Already posted, should be safe to merge
*XDR64*: Make XDR format 64 bit compliant. We'll need this to start
reading/writing 64 bit longs soon so we might as well bite the bullet.
This patch will be posted soon and will just lay the groundwork for the
next patch but won't change the existing format at all...
*XDR64 libMesh-0.9.2+ format*:
- Switch the default format to 64-bit ( LIBMESH_USE_64BIT_XDR )
- Add support for reading/writing uniqueIDs
- Add support for reading/writing named blocks, sidesets and nodesets
If anyone has any comments on this direction, please let me know. The
first two patches are already up and ready to merge. With any luck, I'll
have the 3rd one available today or tomorrow.
