Can you see if trilinos would allow something like this? If so, I'd like
to do it.
So your proposal is "Let's implement this performance improvement
that we should have done years ago, and I'll do all the work"? I can
see how that last clause might qualify as "bat-shit crazy" from your
perspective, but it sounds great to me!
