Okay, I'll take that as another vote for "Who cares about
n_subdomains?", I haven't seen any votes for "I need an O(1)
n_subdomains() call", and even if there are any current users of that
call I suspect they'll prefer an O(N) correct value to an O(1)
incorrect value.  I'll get rid of the cached value, and make it an
O(N_elem) operation.  Some of the other stuff in MeshBase::get_info()
is O(N_elem) too anyway.
