IIRC it's solving nondimensionalized Navier-Stokes equations, but with
that caveat you're correct.

The pressure for incompressible Navier-Stokes is always going to be
determined by (in conjunction with) the velocity.  If you're doing
temperature-driven nearly-incompressible flow, look up the
Boussinesq approximation for how temperature affects buoyancy.
