Everyone, Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is hosting the International Conference on Mathematics and Computational Methods Applied to Nuclear Science and Engineering next spring (May 5-9, 2013) here in Sun Valley, ID (a great little resort town in the mountains). The website address is http://www.mc2013.org/
I'm running a session named "Algorithms for Advanced Architectures" and I'm looking for good paper submissions / talks. The purpose of this session is to explore advanced computational techniques and libraries that could be applied to nuclear science and engineering. The subject matter doesn't have to be nuclear in nature. If you have a new computational library, framework or technique that you think is relevant I encourage you to submit a paper. I think this session will be a lot of fun. I hope to generate a lot of good discussion among the speakers on topics such as: * Software Design * Massively Parallel Computing * Hybrid Computing (GPUs, Intel MIC/Phi, etc.) * Adaptive Mesh Refinement * Iterative Methods * Nonlinear Solution Methods * Preconditioning For Multiphysics Problems * Automatic Differentiation If you have any questions at all, feel free to email me!
