Hi,

I am curious if the library allows for use of Lagrange elements in C0
discontinuous interpolation. Also, is it allowed to have an Lagrange
interpolation of an order that is higher than the geometry order? For
example, can I use a 4th order Lagrange interpolation on a quad4?

This perhaps may not be the case if the Lagrange dofs are assigned to the
nodes only.

Also, what is the best way to create a hierarchic basis is on a
quad4 where a dof is associated with each node and edge, and the bubble
functions are associated with the element. If this is possible, then are
the node and edge dofs enforced to be C0 continuous, or is an option
available for it to belong to the element only for a discontinous basis?

I would appreciate your comments on this.

Thanks,
Manav
