Hi, I am trying to understand the SCALAR variable/fe types.
The FE class of SCALAR seems to return 0 for the shape functions in all cases. At the same time, the project solution method/class uses n_components of a SCALAR variable, which in turn is the order of the scalar variable. So, if scalar variable can have higher orders with constant (0.0) shape function, in which situations can n_components be useful as opposed to adding multiple scalar variables to a system?
