But it doesn't quote work right: shell4's actually have six "sides" and so some 
of our side id mapping stuff doesn't work.  Definitely stick to Quad4's.  I 
think I will patch this to go back to making shell4 throw an error, maybe 
something like "please export quad4 from cubit instead"...

It's possible he's using an old version, maybe a sourceforge SVN version?
