I am trying to import a 2d mesh that I created in trelis to libmesh, but I am getting error of the type File opened successfully. Exodus header info retrieved successfully. Connectivity retrieved successfully for block: 0. ERROR! Unrecognized element type_str: SHELL4 I do see QUAD elements in trelis, but somehow they are imported as SHELL4 in the exodus file. Any suggestions? P.S: The geometry is simple 2D elliptical annulus.
