I'm still learning this , digging into the libmesh code and trying to stick
with physics of my own problems,
but I have used wavelets before for image compression and seem to think they
may have some utility here.
Apparently a quick google search turns up lots of hits on web and scholar
searches. Is this currently
an active area of any relevance to libmesh users and likely to be useful in the
future?
Again, this is clearly a question likely to be of interest to some libmesh
users and is not a suggestion or feature request.
