I was attempting to explain that there are millions of people
listening to and watching conservative news and on those news channels
they call for cuts.  I am then questioned about what these media are. 
i say what they are and someone decides to emphasize they are on cable
as if that negated my point that it was the number one 24 hour news
channel.  it does not.  It is the number one 24 hour news channel on
cable or otherwise.  Who cares that there are not any on the broadcast
networks.  That does not mean these outlets are not important, or
mass, or anything else, other than non broadcast over the TV band.

Neither is ABC NBC or CBS.  The number of households with FOX news is
certainly enough to qualify as mass media by even most conservative
definitions of the term 'mass media'

As are the syndicated talk radio shows on AM radio.
