Hi Jay!

Why?

So why did the people who were personally in a position to "eat those
roadside bombs" love it?

> How about Niger yellowcake?

Are you referring to his SOTA speech where he said "The British government
has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of
uranium from Africa." Do you realize that even Joe Wilson has confirmed
that his contacts in Niger told him (after the war) that an Iraqi delegation
went to Niger to talk about trade? Niger has two exports: Uranium and
goats. Translation: Saddam sought uranium (whether as yellowcake or not)
from Africa.

> How about outing an active duty undercover CIA officer?

Which Bill Safire said the CIA didn't seem particularly interested in
protecting--otherwise he would have left the name out of his story.

> How about not showing up for the last year of his ANG committment?

This charge has been debunked, multiple times over. The only way this can
even be close to "true" is if you look at the fact that in his last year he
showed up only 25% more often than he needed to while in prior years he had
shown up 4 and 5 times as often as he needed to.

> How about not releasing the notes on the Enegery policy board meetings?

Why should he?

> How about the no bid contracts for Halliburton and brown and Root, where
> Audit discover hundreds of millions of dollars of money and materiel
> missing
> and unaccounted for?

Same sort of contracts that KBR and Halliburton got during the Clinton
admin. So what?

> Howabout the Bin Laden Family and other Soudi big wigs flying through our

Not true. Richard Clarke (who wrote a book and got his 15 minutes of fame
trashing Bush before the 911 Commission) said that they flew out on his
say-so. The FBI got to interview everyone they wanted to interview, and
they didn't fly out until after all the planes were flying.

> I hold lots of stuff againt the guy.

If I were as badly misinformed, I would hold lots of stuff against him too.
