Good morning, Bill... Tsk tsk tsk!

The syntax of the phrase "political decisions" probably should be clarified for us unwashed hill folk in Washington State, as I have made more than my share of political decisions in my life while in the throes of emotion. I've made such emotionally-charged political decisions as: 1. I made a very emotionally-charged political decision *NEVER* to trust the word of anyone regarding the Patriot Act being harmless after reading the document in its entirety. I never dreamed in my wildest nightmares that our country could make such a profoundly stupid mistake in the name of Liberty, but it did. 2. The dichotomy of the word "emotion" means, given half a decent amount of time to stop and think about it, upon hearing the National Anthem being played and watching Old Glory waving in the breeze, I still get emotional, despite knowing a great deal of what that flag represents to various other nations, if not the fact that the very country that flag represents is involved in tyranny against its very own citizens (AKA The Patriot Acts I and II). That statement is further leveraged by the fact that at my age, so long as I have the breath and means of doing so, I will always be a free man by emotional choice, and I don't give a righteous damn what the bureaucrats say. Did I make enough of a ripple in the pond? ;-) Dave -- Dave Laird ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) The Used Kharma Lot Web Page: http://www.kharma.net updated 11/24/2004 Usenet news server : news://news.kharma.net Fortune Random Thought For the Minute "I thought you were trying to get into shape."
