I see that all, or at least, almost all, of the messages
originated from the list side of Liberty Northwest migrated to
the news side. Please forgive my frame of mind last night, as at
that time, I understood we had an emergency of sorts coming down
on a person many of us here knew and loved. As it turned out,
Phyllis was rescured after a call from Ben Irvin and is
recovering in a hospital in Buette, Montana. Ben was chiefly
instrumental perhaps in saving her life by responding immediately
to a crisis situation, and most of that ongoing reporting was
transporting through Liberty Northwest. In order to keep that
flow working, I utilized the list side as the newsgroup side had
been for several days leading up to this, unreliable by personal
experience.

I guess, here in the inland Northwest, we are bracing ourselves
for another emergency, although not related at all to the one
above. The weather is expected here to plung deeply in the below
zero category on Wednesday, that is, according to Tom Sherry's
KREM 2 'Storm Tracker' weather report just aired this evening.
It also appears that this condition might very well cover the
remainder of the next week or so.

I will try to test, and retest, the newsgroup viability of this
group with less sensitive traffic over the next few days.

Kindest regards,
Frank
