Good evening everyone!
I will keep this short and succinct as possible.
Exporting 'liberty' via force has never worked very well.
We found out, after 58,000 lives in Southeast Asia three decades ago,
that we it was a tremendous expense in national treasure, not to
mention the American lives who were lost, not counting all all, all
the other casualties that will never heal, that is the countless
individuals who left their arms and legs in Vietnam, and returned home
without them.
If any of you do, and I would hope all of you do, take just a fragment
of time to consider that the Shrub Regime<tm> is now floating this
fiction that Liberty can be exported as the basis for his next four
years in power in America! The very basis of the Shrub's idealism is
to export liberty via 'force'!
Liberty exists because it really exists. It doesn't depend upon the US
government, or any government. We went through this drill for a long
time after the American Revolution, when we established the fact that
free men and women are free only because of the fact that we were born
free in the first place, and ONLY government seems to find ways to
take that freedom from us. Freedom does not come from government.
Either our own government, or any other government on the face of the
earth, protects such freedoms, or it does not.
I hope some of you are following along with this so far, I really do.
Our own government has a paltry history of protecting our own
individual liberty -- so ask yourself tonight how possibly THIS damn
government is going to export real 'liberty' by 'force' to anyone?
Our own government doesn't even recognize any longer our own liberty,
within our own country, and NOW THIS PRESIDENT wants to export
something it refuses to support [here] to everyone else by means of
military force?!
Indeed it is time for a regime change. It's absolutely a time for
regime change right now right here in America.
