Here is where I agree with Fred Men are better at somethings, and women are better at other things
Men and women think and view the world differently A woman who helps a puppy is, in fact, a higher form of a life materially than all the "Great Men" who have splashed history with blood. where I disagree with Fred Read a Little - He talks about the Distribution and then wanders by the implication. An average is just that. You'll never find a group where all the IQs are 100 People are all over the map. some will be on this end of the scale and others will be on that end of the scale - no matter what you're measuring. Strength, Endurance, Intelligence, Character, Fashion Sense, Musical talent. Some folks will be not-so-good, some folks will be really, really good. The trick there, and I looks like God playing a joke on us, is that while you can generalize - there will be indivudals who break the rules. Somewhere there is a woman who could compete with the power lifters in the world. Somewhere there is a woman who has a brain for math that just won't quit. Somewhere there is a man who is a batural talent for nurturing and really *doesn't care* how his car or computer work. some where there are Hispanic people, asian people, black people who are supremely intelligent people of good character Somewhere there are white people who are the most brutal brain damaged thugs you can imagine. and *you can't tell on first sight*. Talent, capability and character ARE NOT COLOR CODED. I think Fred's casual assertion that Black people rate 15 points lower in IQ over all is untrue (My anecdotal experience says otherwise) and basically racist.
